It starts out in Standard Italian, but very quickly ends up in Neapolitan – but from there it shifts registers between two of the characters (one being more formal, the other more mean). I’ve tried to translate it while keeping it 1) more or less true to the original words, and 2) in meter and rhyme – which I admit was tough to do in a few places.
